Huge Lighting Decision, Looking for Advice

My wife has her 65 gallon Hex setup now she needs to know what type of lighting you all suggest for a taller tank like hers. Not sure what she will end up wanting to keep so were looking for something thats good all around. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Lumenbright Reflector with a 250W MH lamp. I'd get a 14K

Agreed..or a Lumenmax or similar "large" reflector.. If you can fit some 24" T5s on there go for it otherwose said Mh setup should work

Glad to hear some one else is doing a hex.

On my 45G I ran a SE 175W MH with 220 W PC atinic. Grew just about anything I wanted in there including clams. There are some pic's in my gallery of the tank. I miss that tank.

The E Bay light that you are looking at is or may be OK but I doubt there will be any warranty. I have heard horror stories about ebay lighting. I'd highly recomend you go through a reputable vendor with a good light.

only reason i considered that light was because i have bought power compacts from this same dealer and they have been outstanding on my 72 bowfront. i appreciate all the help and advice you all are giving.
