Just read the reviews. They said good circulation . Down side was size and it raised the temp in tank slightly. I'm already gonna have temp issues. I like the Ecotech Marine pumps but gheees the price is kinda steep for a powerhead type thingy. The reviews on it were great and one day when I'm rich, I'll get one.LOL

if you have thick glass the magnet bases are kind of weak from what ive read.just something to ponder.

Speaking of heat does anyone have a link to a good post which talks about pumps/powerheads and the heat they add to the tank.

watts=heat the higher the watts the higher the heat added.think of each powerhead as a small heater.if it draws 8watts to run the powerhead then it like having a 8 watt heater(theoreticly).
