Hydrofoamer Questions

I'm interested in using a Hydrofoamer (9400.040) to increase the capacity of a skimmer I currently have. The descriptions of the pump refer to a "Pump outlet with ¾” GAS thread". What is a GAS thread? Will American PVC pipe threads fit it?

Also, what are the dimensions of this pump?

Yes, it is 3/4" NPT, in Europe they call it 3/4" gas because they only use the US threads on gas pipes. I changed it in the manual.
