Hydroids

I have an outbreak of hydroids in my 6 gallon picoreef. Any suggestions on how to eradicate them? I have never dealt with them before and am not sure what to do. I have noticed some one my corals causing some tissue damage. Should I try removing all coral doing a dip in revive, and then scrub the rock? Or is there some critter that will munch on them?

I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean by bbs. I have been feeding brine shrimp lately.

Ok looks like I'll stop feeding that. Does anyone know if anything will eat them or am I stuck removing all rock and scrubbing, and dipping all coral? I thought I had read that some people had some luck with sea hares eating them.

i think they will die out on thier own. keep the nurtients low. and for the bbs, try decaping before you hatch them, i think it will kill anything on the eggs.

Thanks for the advice I only have a pair of Picasso so I think I'll just go with feeding some Thera A or something comparable until I notice a die down in the hydroids

I would love to share some pics but boy does my iPhone suck at taking pictures. I'm going to try and borrow my parents dslr this week to take some pictures. And thanks for the advice skunk mere I've stopped feeding brine shrimp for about a week and switched to pellets and have noticed a decline in hydroids populations

Mine are all very small and I haven't noticed any on the rock mostly just the glass. Super gluing seems like a huge pita. The numbers have reduced so I'm going to scrape them all off the glass then do a large water change sucking most of them out. Ill probably repeat this a couple times over the week to get the remainder out
