Hyopthetical Cholorquine/Ich question

1. I treated a fish who had Ich with that Cholorquine treated food.
2. His Ich went away.
3. It has been 10 weeks since the cryptocaryon went away and he was the only fish in the tank.

Is Ich still present?

I am more intellectually curious than anything. I know the best procedure is going fallow.

One possibility for his ich going away is that he developed enough immunity not to be sick. But in this case he may still harbor the parasite

As for the food, if he ate enough of it and you fed it to him for the entire 10 weeks it may have prevented parasites from feeding on him and after 10 weeks the parasites are likely gone. Though an extra week would be recommended.

If you only fed the food until his ich went away you could still have the first situation and the parasite is still present.
