my bottom is now covered with a thin layer of coralline algae. I still have some gravel around the LR. Altough I did not put the LR in after the sand, I am afraid to suck too vigorously in the cracks.
It is much easier to see the lowflow areas where the detritus tend to accumulate, I blow them off with the baster.
