.......and yes I'm sitting here watching Larry Dahlberg catch big fish and doing a little surfing myself
It's about time I made it to the 21st century huh?
The only reason I finnaly got a cell phone 2.5 years ago was because I had a flat tire and was very, very pregnant with the other 2 kids in the car! Thought it was time to get with the rest of the world!
Glad you got a cool new toy, I would love to surf on the couch!!
I just got my own cell phone about 1.5 years ago after sharing one with my wife for 10 years. I wish I was back to sharing -- it is like I have an electronic leash now.
I guess I shouldn't feel so behind after all.....especially if I am compared to those my age
I hang around 25 year olds all day and those guys/gals are pretty tech savvy. Most get a kick out me saying I typed my papers on a typewriter the first time in college and they had to look on microfiche to find my old student records:lol:
In one class this semester I was the only one that hand wrote my assignments. Everyone else just typed them up on their laptop.
Don't worry, Chris, I don't have a laptop either. I suspect both my children will get one before I do
Wireless internet is very useful at our house so the kids can do homework on another computer. I suspect you'll discover that pretty soon at your house as well.
Only reason I bought a laptop was because it is required for the Business College... Now I don't know how I ever got by without it... Of course I spend a LOT more time on the web now... I'm a junkie...
Hey Chris..
with your wireless, just make sure you change the default router passwords and set a good password (something not in a dictionary) on your WPA encryption key...just my 2 cents.

I started to try and get a Facebook account going (and never got much of anywhere), but now "Twitter" seems to be the latest communcations fad. I work with teenagers and I try to keep up, but my tech level desires seem to have stalled at text messaging.
