I finally picked up a partner for my Interrupta today!

That is crazy and so cool. I caught my Interrupta today and its in my refugium now. Hopefully it'll chill out in the next 3 weeks in time out.

mine is in the fuge under the big tank and Tactics is still in the 250 qt with 2 bandits, tiny regal, and tiny goldflake...luckily, no fighting at all..though the gf and regal like to flare with each other...

will def. add both Interrupta and the others at the same time...

Darn you! I was talking with him about shipping.
Oh well at least they went to a good home.
 
And we have SUCCESS!!! After two weeks of having the run of my tank and my old Interrupta being in lockdown in the refugium, my new Interrupta seemed comfortable enough in his new home. I was going to wait 3 weeks, but I didn't want the new Interrupta to get to dominate in the DT.

Anyway, during the two weeks, I had Elite Aquatics make a custom acclimation box for me. It's basically just double the length of the regular acclimation box. My idea was to catch the new Interrupta and put it in the larger acclimation box with my Interrupta to see if they fought. I figured if they did, it would be a lot easier to catch and separate them in the acclimation box, than in my DT. Anyway, here they are getting along well together...just both a little freaked out to be in there:

They got along all day together, so I decided to just let them go in the DT. They chased each other around just a little, but everyone is one big happy family now.

Sorry about the bad pictures. The room got pretty dark. I try to take better ones tomorrow. Anyway, I've finally got a pair of Interrupta in my display tank again. I hadn't had that since the pair I got from RCT 6 years ago...Yay!

Wayne- looks outstanding...the Interrupta seem to be doing great together...I hope I have the same success...
