I got the bug the wrasse bug that is!

i dont want to hitch hike this tread but they were a probably three hundred buck worth of fish but the twisti was a tough one as he was my fourth and i had him for about three years . i had the male bipartius for three or four years also and he used to be a she so that was cool to see her morph into a male .

yep the money isn't a concern as we all could own another car if we traded in the value of our tanks and inhabitants . sooooooo, its time to go shopping !

So sorry to hear Dave. Those kind of lessons I don't want to learn first hand. Sorry it happened to you.

Well give your new, (great looking tank)some time to mature and then pulling the trigger wont be so hard.
It's scary to spend that much cash on such a fragile animal. You have to trust your system.

Thanks Bradley, that was a huge variable in my withdrawl. Im sure with great vendors like PIA and DD we'll see more. I hope you find some females to go with that beautiful male you have.

Wow, that's cool they stayed in the states. I had my cursor on the check out button atleast 4 times.

Brett, we had to really exercise some patience ourselves. Would love to have one, but we haven't been keeping wrasses for that long and we're still getting over the catastrophic failure of our first 300g tank and then the overflow box failure on our new replacement tank.

well when i woke up today 1 female was dead:( DD was very good about helping me out but still it is lousy she died. Im not sure what could have caused it there is only PVC and the other 2 pyles fairies in there, hob filter, and heater. any ideas guys? when i took her out of the tank she still had her coloration and didn't look like she'd been dead long. I did notice the night before a small "fleshy" mass coming out of her, but i though it was just poo.

my wife is spraying more ammonia on the counter tops as i wright this ! omg ,lol ?
i guess we will have to change how i serve them dinner

I too LOVE the Wrasse. What a great fish species. I have several in my tank including a Pylie. If it hadn't been for an ex I'd have nothing in my tank but wrasse. I have a nice tank of fish but I would have choosen differently. Oh well...someday.

I have the addiction as well. Here's my Hoeven's.
