I hate to do this but......

Well I was thinking after i got off the phone with you today. I recall bearly nowing you and you came out and helped me pack for a cfm. You and Jay always bringing friends over. Comming over at what time to see those aussie colonies I bought. The frag swaps, club meetings and the parties always there. Sanh you have been a great friend to me and a great person in the reefing community. Take a break and enjoy your kids growing up. If and when you are ready to dive back in. Come to my house and pick some flowers out of my garden.
 
Good luck sanh - I am sure you will enjoy hanging out with your son and daughter when she arrives in march. Let me know when you get the ich to come back. Maybe then your son can help with the water changes and tank maintenance.
 
Sorry to hear, but I totally understand about opportunity costs and time. Like you said, it'll be there when you're ready to return.

I agree... Great guy who is more then willing to go out of his way to help someone out...
 
I'm glad you came out to the SCRK meet the other day. Hope you still make the meets though. Instead of getting out just keep a nano. Or fowler

I think at some point the madness has to stop. Hundreds and even thousands of dollars over the years. All that money couldn't gone into something that doesn't brown out or die out in days....like iphones, tv and other toys...hell even boozes and strippers..:) Even drugs are cheaper than this hobby....I guess the senseless spending finally got to most people. JMO....Got to me....:)
 
That's a bummer... I've got a lot of frags from you in the past... so when you get back in, let me return the favor!

Good luck and enjoy chillin' with the kids! If they grow as fast as your corals seem to, get ready to sign them up for basketball or something :D

This past week, about 5 of my colonies RTN'ed overnight. Its like something contagious sweeped through the rock and turned the colonies white in a matter of hours. Couldn't find the cause, and I was really busy working so I didn't get a chance to frag any of them. I lost the basketball sized green ORA birdsnest, and my favorite which is the Formosa, among other things. At that point I seriously considered quitting, I really did. My tank looks like a mess as we speak (Jan 19) and I'm just sick of it. I don't want to open up a new thread just to announce it, but I think I'm heading towards that same direction as well. I don't post here in RC alot anymore like I used to, and after 15 long years I think I finally feel tired. and bored. and... um.. broke. lol

If I start losing a few more pieces, I might also kick the bucket for good.

yeah - if lowbudget quits then I might quit too since he's my reef idol and taught me everything I know. All of my friends are quitting - not as fun anymore.
