I have a solution for better cell phone pics

Ok for thous of you that don't know Im also a photographer and the other day while putting away some old equipment I came accost these photo jels we use to use for flash photography and coloring backgrounds.

Anyway!
I did some test shots holding these gels up in front of my iPhone and ipad and I could not believe how well it removed the BLUE, and how much more true the colors of the coral were.

These are the gels and the example shots I took.
The first shot is without a gel and then each shot after is with each gel consecutive showing a slight difference.

The nice part about having 4 different jells is depending on your lights one mite show more true to real coral color.

I have Ai Sol’s on my 120 and MH on my rimless.

I'm sorry, what was the actual technique? Are you using the gels to set your white balance? if so how are you doing that on your cell phone?

No it is very simple you just hold the filter over the camera lens.

Ok not that anyone should be shooting a Video with the antinics on the sol blues set to 32% lol but I doubled up two different gels and this is what you get ( see video)
Again not ideal but you get the idea
Video starts with no gels then I add the gels ... You will see it!

'm really impressed with these already, and I have only taken one pic with it of my scoly. It really knocks the blue out and gives a bunch more detail that seems to get lost in the phones white balancing. The colors are ten times more accurate with the gel filters.
