I have questions about calcium reactors

I'm really getting interested in adding a calcium reactor to help me omit some of my dosing routine. The problem is I now nothing about them. I'm looking at the following model : http://www.marinedepot.com/AquaMaxx...lcium_Reactors-AquaMaxx-UJ3313-FICRRA-vi.html
I have looked at the description and the online manual and am wondering where the CO2 comes from. They really don't mention it. Just that there is a place for CO2 intake. Do I need to buy the calcium rock stuff and a CO2 tank setup and would I need to get a CO2 regulator? I hope somebody can help.

Thanks. I'll wait to hear from him. But I think it is going to cost a lot more than I originally thought. I'm gonna need a reactor, a CO2 set-up and a pH controller. Continuing to Dose code A and B doesn't seem that bad, with that type of cost.

I use to run one on my 120,At first you will need to monitor the calcium level to adjust the amount.You will also need a bubble counter to adjust the amount of carbon dioxide.

There is a guy mtrc that has a good DIY project for a ca reactor. I think he also makes them for people.

You are correct, The up front costs for a good Ca Rx is around 500.00 + but the long term benefits will save you money over time. If you plan on staying in the hobby long term it is the cheapest way to go in the end.

Poolkeeper, I'm kind of partial to the above mentioned nano reactor, because my tank is only a 65 gallon all in one tank. What pH controller and CO2 setup would you recommend. I'm not sure about the gas. Do I get that locally? How long does it last? What aggregate do you recommend? I think the Aqua Maxx nano comes with a bubble counter. Do I also need a regulator? If you could maybe use the Marine Depot as a supplier, maybe you could give me a idea of what I need after the reactor. Thanx.
