I've heard good and bad. The only experience I've had with them was a blend of both.
I always want to hear stuff about the lfs in our area. Good, bad, or indifferent. With my leet people and reading skills, I am usually able to weed out the whiny from the wth. Just please avoid scientific terms with me or I may turn into a shark.
I am sorry things did not work out for you there. The proof is in the pudding and time tells all.

:lol: - I've got some blues (which are actually teal with bright yellow centers) almost ready for you - I figure about 8 polyps, so I can split them down the middle whenever you're ready :thumbsup:

sorry man, couldn't resist, I feel your pain - I've gotten the same treatment there - and at every other place I've been to - even Frazer zoo - but Mike was crazy busy that day
- I actually talked to a friend today - and while I myself don't really want to bash any LFS's (not even NT's - as they're there when I need to run out and grab a maxi-jet or some salt in a pinch) My friend noted a similar experience at ECA but said that his problem with people was the reverse of what the people in the referenced thread were saying - and if that didn't confuse people "out of the loop" I don't know what will
I think every place has good days and bad days, but in the end, a place that's cool enough to hold sidewalk sales for locals to trade and sell old equipment is still going to get my business.....
the fury in the other thread was just too much for me - I think there is some bottled aggression that could have been dealt with in a much more productive way.

Yeah, I agree. It seems that the people who have had bad experiences there have had REAL bad experiences. I was more annoyed than anything until the people who were supporting them launched personal attacks against people who had problems. I'm always ready for zoa's man!! I've got some Red People Eaters coming tomorrow so I'm sure I will have a good trade for you soon too.
