I just ordered some Zoos Online...

Okie dokie...

Some of the zoos have not opened yet, but here are some preliminary pics. He threw in a free frag, but I am not sure of what yet since they haven't opened. I am assuming that it is the eagle eye, which would be cooler if I didn't already have a colony

That damn hermit kept messing with the frags too so taking a pics was a pain. He is a camera hog.

I am a bit concerned with the larger frag all the way on the left of the 1st pic. It almost seems like they are encased in glue and may not open. We'll see tomorrow.

Actually, that is my horrible picture taking.... they are the some as intensity as the larger colony in my other post (my re-aquascaped tank pics).

I didn't order the atomic green ones.

I think what I will do is post a pic of what was advertised vs what they look like in my tank once all of the frags are opened up.

Aquadesignz I have never heard of... that isn't Anthony from Passion is it? I just checked out the site and I think I am going to place an order tomorrow morning... anyone know if he is local?


I went with this company cuz I like the purples (which I have never seen). Trust me, the shipping didn't bother me since like I said before, I waste that much just driving all over SoCal trying to find something I want.

OK, I gave everything some time to open up and I took some pictures. This is how its going to work - I will post a pic of what I actually received, then a picture of what I order right below per the website. I am not the the greatest photographer in the world but they should give you an idea.

Keep in mind the following:

I am using a 20k Hamilton and the pictures were supposedly taken using a 14k phoenix.

Here are some pics of all of them together. They also included a free frag of what I believe is the Atomic Green or something like that.

Overall, I am a bit disappointed. One frag never opened and I think only the bubblegum looks decent like the pics advertised. I haven't posted my ebay comments yet. Do you think I should ask for a replacement frag for the nonopening one?

Thanks everyone, tell me what you think. As for a group buy, I would be willing to go in on one, but more than likely from a different vendor.

sorry to hijack your thread but i have a colony of those princess dreams (i didnt buy them from this vendor ive just had them for awhile) that grow insanely fast if anyone is interested in frags

ye anthony from aquadesigzn is a local guy in OC. he deal with high ends stuff only, and has real nice zoo.

Super - Thanks for posting the pics. I'm really wary of buying zoos. Seems like just about everyone posts these awesome pics. Then you get them home and they look nothing like the pics. And yeah, you should ask for a replacement for the non-opening one, especially since you have photo proof.

Sadly, the zoos you had BEFORE this order are the best looking of the group. Where did you get them?
