I made a bonsai rock

Regardless it looks amazing!!! I would be proud of the work you did!
If I ever try to replicate a bonsai I'm defiantly going to ask you for advise!

You picked in my opinion the absolute best example to mimic for bonsai style. Thor's (crazy4acros) tank was amazing, I can't wait to see where you take this. I prefer the bonsai to the minimal look. BTW, your vlamingi tang says hello.

Just out of curiosity, but how did you cycle that quickly? My cycle started about 10 days ago and I can't imagine the cycle being complete until at least early June. Did you use any kind of cycle accelerator?

No criticism intended. Your rockwork is amazing and I'm sure your tank will be incredible.

I used about 20 lbs of good crusty live rock in addition to the sterilized bonsai rock and a big mesh bag full of shrimp along with Catalina water to fill the tank. After the first week ammonia was at 3ppm at end of week 2 it was between 0 and .25. Thats when my clowns went in and they were great, no spikes, no issues. It was the fastest ive ever cycled but im at 3 weeks now and still testing every other day still happy with the readings. All fish and coral are in tank doing excellent. I did have an algae bloom but my army snails and seahare made quick work of it.

Thor's pic was my wallpaper. It was so balanced and perfect and really made for a great inspiration.

Thanks for taking care of my fish, she looks happy in her new digs!

Some new pics, The rock is quickly being taken over by my corals. I am picking up a few new encrusting montiporas this weekend to start covering the top rock and I am thinking about mounting my sun coral upsidedown from the bottom of the top rock. It would be a tricky mount but would look awesome. Picture quality is garbage, I really should get something better than this iphone camera, my colors are way off and too blurry.
