I may have messed up :/

Ok so the blue haddoni was removed on Sunday and has been receiving treatment since. My purple and dark green carpets look perfect. My red haddoni has look big and healthy everyday this week until today when he was tightly compacted and now he is slowly opening back up. Wasn't sure what happen but about 30 minutes after he started opening back up, a huge amount of sand was dumped on him covering his entire mouth and center. So here is my problem- is he sick and needs treatment or could this be the result of having large amounts of sand dumped on him?

They can expel sand, no biggie. Mine used to hide in the sand for days when upset.

Not so much worried about sand getting in, more so about if it's stress from being dumped sand on it or if he did get infected and needs treatment. By the looks of the pictures what would you say?

I have a tub with cipro waiting just in case. If I didn't see two loads of sand dumped on him today, he would already be in the tub. Just don't want to make a mistake

And out of curiosity are cipro and septra equally broad spectrum for bacterias potentially affecting carpet anemones (I know the specific strains are unknown)

I am still unsure what to do. Should I just treat it as a just in case or leave it be? The other two still look perfectly fine. And sand was dumped on the red again so it makes it difficult for me to differentiate stress vs sickness.

If it's sick, you will see it inflate then deflate

Given the context and history (i.e., loss of feeding response, etc.) here, I am confident that this nem is going down. I would start treatment ASAP.

How in the world is sand being dumped on your nem? And you say it happened yet again? I'm sorry but I have to ask.
