I need a bulb

One of my 400 watt single ended bulbs broke from water splash. I am ordering 2 new bulbs anyways around august 20th when I get paid again. question is does anyone here have an old one I can use until I get the new ones in. half my tank is unlit uless I can rig up a temporary light with an extra unsuitable fixture. It would be appreciated and I would return it as soon as I get my new ones.

yeah - don't do that. Pushing 400 watts through a 250 watt bulb is bound to end up badly.
