all of these things were hitchickers on my rock there was about 1 lb of it the tank is a 1/6 gallon and the stuff strated growing a week ago with great growth thankls for your help,Chris

1. pic is out of focus, sorry.
2. Halimeda opunia. apparently
3. pic is out of focus, but that is unlikely C. serrulata (razor).
4. that red stuff could be Halymenia. Is it soft or gristly?
5. Again, out of focus, and I'm seeing blades on edge.
6. Neomeris sp., probably N. vanbosseae.
7. Just too far away. Sure looks algal, though.

Sorry.

thanks my camera was being retarded yesterday took very litle good pics the red stuff is gritty ,Chris

If it is gristly, then it ain't Halymenia...
There's a busload and-a-half of species that that could be, and it all depends on descriptions of the edge (serrated, smooth), whether there's a midrib to each blade, how each blade branches (if at all) ...etc. etc...

Speajing in general, most reds are nice to have, though.
