I need some pods...

Alright, not sure if anyone can really help me out much but i need to get a good population of pods going in my tank. I have a copperband that is picking around the rock like crazy and could use a good pod population to keep him fat, ever since the tang kicked his butt he's not eating much prepared foods. since my tank is still pretty new after the copper fiasco i don't have a very good pod population. i've seen the pods in the green water bags at the lfs but don't really trust them to really add alot of pods..

I'm not sure if they can even catch the mandarin sized pods. You may try looking for amphipods or mysid shrimp (The live saltwater kind)

I know there are also frozen mixes of food just for butterflies that may not be the most complete nutritious diet (I think i've seen stuff like brine in there) but it is compelling sometimes enough for them to eat and has worms and feather duster particles in it. Their staple in the wild I believe are anemones\worms\feather dusters. If you have any friends with any aiptasia infested tanks he'll probably gobble those down too but they are hard to find intentionally.

Hope this helps a little bit
