I nuked two aptasia with kalk

today. I found them on a zoa rock I got from the LFS. After nuking them with a thick mix of kalkwasser. All I see left is short,stumpy base. Can they still regenerate? Or will the base eventually fall off and wither away?

If there is anything left they will regenerate. Do it again. Shut off your pumps and cover the stumps in paste. Let the tank stand quiet for 30 min. or so. They will completely dissolve.

I just zapped a bunch too. I hate these things. They've always came back in the past. I tried putting more on this time and I'm letting the tank sit with the pumps off for longer this time too.

They will regenerate even if all there is a stump left
