I Rearranged my 65 cube

Hey Folks,

I did some recent re-arranging with my tank, and i think i have my corals in the right spots at least. I also traded in my flamehawk for a new foxface. I'm liking him so far! very active! For those that helped me a few months back about my flamehawk killing a few other fish, the shop I went to was completely against that ever happening and blamed my water more than anything. Possible, i understand, i've gotten a lot of opinions, but if my water was "bad" why would my fish still eat and swim with no problems, and my corals continue to grow and get bigger? I'm still a little new, and that's here nor there too. Just looking for some opions on placement of my stuff, and most of all thanks for looking!

Looks good.

My foxface is some hardy fish. He has made it through some pretty harsh conditions. Active fish with nice appearance.

good luck.

I just started a 60 cube myself, love the tank! What are your ideas for fish stocking? Foxface will eventually get too big for the tank? 9inches full grown. (I'm no expert)

Have you thought about adding more rock? I like your candy's. looking good

I agree that there seems to be too little rock there to effectively handle the biological load. Unless you have a lot of rock in your sump, suggest you add another 30 to 40 pounds before you add any more fish. You are off to a great start. Congrats.

although I would personally prefer adding more rock you could get away with even LESS rock as long as you had a honkin' skimmer.
I'm glad we were able to help you solve the fishy circumstances surrounding your finned friends early demise!

yes thanks Gary! I agree with the foxface comment, he will get larger and most likely i will have to give him up in probably 8-12 months from what i'm told. I do need larger rock, and I guess i have kind of forgotten about the "cleaning" aspect that it has. I use an ASM mini G for mine, and it seems to do a serious job in taking out waste in my opinion. Thanks for the input everyone, i really appreciate it!
