I received my water test results

I posted a few weeks ago regarding my ATO water mate being off since I was losing some coral and a random cyano outbreak. Someone suggested I have the water tested, so I did through ATI, I just received the results back today. How does one rid themselves of lithium?

I have seen a few threads that lithium fuels cyano. I had a a weird outbreak but thought maybe I just stirred some sand. A couple months have gone by and it still is an issue. That would for sure be the longest I have seen cyano in my tank.

Any experience with that? They also recommend that I start adding phosphorous, hesitant to do that

Randy says that high Li in the tank isn't a concern, and a possible way it was introduced is by low grade magnesium supplements.

I just use IO since I dose. I have been using it for a very long time, few years at least. I was using tropic pro but that was prior to dosing. I went a long time with doing minimal water changes. When the temp dropped I was burning through RODI so I thought maybe that had something to do with it, that test came back with no issues.

I think the main issue might be my nitrate I lost a few big fish that were keeping it close to the 2-3 range. Now looking at this I may need to bump up the fish count.

Anyone have experience adding phosphorous? I don't want to start adding a bunch of chemicals if I don't have too.
