Hi all - as stated.....
I was syphoning water from my DT into my QT and got some in my mouth (first time for me.....). Gross. Poor fish - already in the QT to start with, then I come along and spot in their little home.
I suppose this happens sometimes?

Last week, I was (once again) fighting with my calcium and reactor and was sucking on the output tube to get the gas pocket out of the reactor. Suddenly, I felt a sharp sting on my tongue: a small bristleworm had made it through the tubing and nailed me.

I spit that on the floor and hoped that I wouldn't have an allergic reaction.

Really gross.

This reminds me of an occurrence when one of my brothers was in high school - he played trumpet and always just left it on the floor in his room.
Once when he started playing it, an earwig crawled out and bit him on the tongue.
