I think my RBTA is dying....

It's been semi shriveled up & hard looking(if that makes any sense, that's the best way I can describe it),for like 4 days now. What should I do? Levels are as follows,PH:8.2,ammonia:0, nitrites:0, nitrates:0, calcium: 500,dkh:8deg,phosphates:0,magnesium:1200ppm,specific gravity:1.025. It hasn't been right since I got it from the petstore about4 weeks ago,it has eaten a couple of times & I thought it was on the rebound but now I think it's on it's way out. Any suggestions as to what I should do would be appreciated.

What kind of lights do you have? How often do you do water changes? SG and everything else looks fine..what other kind of inverts do you have? Are you able to check on the bta several times durring the day? I am just thinking maybe it only does this when you are at home. A picture would help..can you show us a picture of it?

I have 300 watts of compact fluorescents on 10 hrs a day,it's in the upper 3rd of my tank. I have been hame all day for the past 3 days & it's been the same,no change. I do water changes reliougsly once a week. My camera just broke so I can't get pics right now. I'll try & borrow 1 from somebody & get some pics up.

I am going through the same thing with a new RBTA I just got. Sometimes you just gotta sit and wait it out, they are pretty resilient.

the Current 24" Sundial setup. It should be more than plenty, had 2 RBTAs that did well before Ike killed most thing sin my tank last month.

Well, I woke up this a.m and the anemone has almost no tentacles left. According to another member it is basically eating itself(I'm not sure why as I have been feeding it & it has been accepting food). I was wondering if adding a coralife 36" 2x21 watt T% fixture would make a difference(@ this point I'm not sure).Any opinions out there?I'm going to try & feed a piece of silverside this afternoon(by recommendation of another member)& see what happens. At what point should I give up & remove it from the tank? My biggest fear is that it will die,I won't be home to take it out & it will cause my tank yo crash? Am I being overly paranoid? I also feel bad & don't want to give up on trying to "save" it,I think my Maroon would be lost without it! Well, we'll see.....
