start getting in touch with local reefers!Where are you guys getting these ORA frags? I know im off topic so sorry about that, all i get is ones from my LFS and they are nothing special
... That is a much better option than always buying from your LFS.Ivy and Andy, those are some great looking colonies!

Most recent. RP is about a third of a way from the left.
About 18 months.
WHOA....maybe I need to get some more powerheads. Nice tank!

take into mind that is a 500g system. he said the RP is over 12" long making that tank about 8' long

No it's not, they're most likely Acropora hyacinthus.

I love the appearance of this coral. It would add some badly needed color to my tank. Since there is no marine/reef store within 220 miles of my house, I have been looking online, but can't find the coral under the name Red Planet. I've found some tabling acropora corals, but none as red as this one. Is it only available from ORA?

I just lost my rp frag in a move this weekend...it was only a half inch stick, but I mourn the loss.

There are some vendors online selling it still. Although they usually get swooped up fast. LA had one the other day. I believe that Vivid was selling some too. Try to get a frag from a hobbyist!! It won't be nearly as costly..
