Its a very nice store, Very big. I saw someone say it was like 6,000 sq feet because if didnt "look" as big as exotic. Its probably the lay out. Exotic is square, this place has some design to it.

It is very nice. Peggy did a very nice job on that place. There are three main tanks for coral that are very nice. The tanks are a little empty, but they are new. The prices are nice and cheap and on par.

I did tell her that one thing I didnt like was the fact there was no price tags on the coral tanks. Let her know that alot of people dont like that also.

Asked if she was gonna put sticker or write on the tanks, she said she wasnt but then she said they were thinking about putting them above the tank. Let her know that would be very good because when we ask for price's we get different prices and if someone isnt available then we never find out.

So while I was there they were measuring the area above the tanks.

So hopefully they follow through with that.

They have a little outdoor Koi pond which is very nice.

They also got some tanks from a company called oceanbros. Acrylic w/ rounded edges. VERY NICE and not that expensive.

Stock wise its so far the same as Ost, but there are some different things that they dont have over there.

So if you havent gone yet, go.

If you come from HWY 50 get off on power in road and then make a left on belvedere.

Cant miss it its right on the left side, big building.

it has more SW fish than Ost...
I got my Russels lion there for 25 bucks. The guy was very helpful and did show that it ate before I bought it

It is a nice store. Peggy and Jack did a good job and it will take awhile for them to really stock that place. I also heard rumor that there might a 4th raceway along the wall for us SPS junkies. :)

I agree, not haveing priceing on the coral tanks is very confusing. I was told 2 different prices for the same piece when i purchased the other day.

I am of the exact opposite philosphy. If one person tells you one thing; go to someone else and find out if it is lower. Whoever is lower, that is who you barter with. :D

That's always been an issue at O st for me. The reef displays are really nice but the other reef shops have a good thing with the clear labels and separation of corals. The price seems to depend on who you get to help you. I'll be checking out the new place this weekend.

Not the streed address but just south of Folsom Blvd, there is a small street that runs beween Power Inn and Florin-Perkins called Belvedere. If you are headed south on Power Inn, it's just past Family Court, left turn.
