Update Time
Hard to believe its been a month already... All params tested ok in the new tank last Sunday. I added a Birdsnest to see how it faired this week, 5 days later all looks good so I moved a couple more hardy SPS over this evening (Green Slimer, Turquoise Stag and Rainbow Monti) Will see how they do over the next week and if all goes well will move the rest of the SPS next weekend.

LPS Woes
I have some sort of infection that started wreaking havoc on a couple of my chalices a couple weeks ago. I thought it was an alk swing but after some google-ing and seeing it spread from one to several neighbors, decided to send pics to a couple vendors that deal heavily in chalices. They both agreed it was a bacterial infection of some sort. The affected chalices were dipped; 1 in Lugols, 1 in Revive and 1 in CoralRX, on Tuesday night. The infection appears to have stopped spreading and they appear to be rapidly regaining the pigment in the white spots that had appeared. I dont have a ton of experience with LPS aliments so all LPS will remain in the 90 until these chalices have fully healed and I'm sure what ever this is wont spread to other LPS.

FISH
None of the current inhabitants ever went thru QT. Everyone appears healthy but with them going onto the big system, theres no point chancing it. They will move to QT as soon as I get it set up. First up will be tank transfer and the a couple rounds of Prazi, as I have suspected my Flame Angel has some sort of worm issue (string poops) for a while. Is there anything else anyone thinks I should hit them with before they move over?
Tasks This Weekend
I'm hoping to be able to go grab a couple tanks and some wood for stands and get them going as fish and future coral QT this weekend but my sons having tubes put in his ears tomorrow morning, so how much I get done is totally dependent on how he's feeling. Also, with the halides finally running its become obvious I need to hurry up and get my canopy put together and up too. My plan is to weld a frame, lag it to a couple studs and hang the canopy panels from it using french cleats... again time permitting, that also reminds me I need to order the cleats... Hopefully I can at least find time to break out the saw and get the stock cut down for welding some time soon.

I need to hurry up and decide how I'm going to control this beast. I currently have an Apex on the 90, it replaced an RKE (gets used for QT for now). The problem is the RKE is on its last legs and I'm not sure I even trust it to run QT tanks anymore at this point. Do I get the new Apex, expand current Apex to run QT too or really shake it up and go Profilux? Any opinions? :hmm3:
