I purchased a IFE yesterday and would like to hear past and current experiences with this coral. I put it in a high light, medium to high flow spot in my tank and it seems to be doing well. Last night when the lights were out it extended polyps. I would like to hear how to keep this coral healthy, growth rates, and pictures are welcome!

Depends what you mean by high light, I my experience echinata like med to low light. In my tank it is 12 inches under a 250 20k bulb plus actinic fluorscent. It can be one of the more demanding corals to keep. Good luck it is a nice addition.

Mine is about 10-12" under my Ecotech radions that's what I mean by high light

I know the feeling, but its hard to give help if we cant see whats going on.
