IceCap 60 inch VHO Retrofit question

I just purchased 2 250W 10k XM MH retros with icecap ballasts. I must say you guys sure know how to pack. I could have dropped that box off a buiding and not damaged anything. I only wish I could've gotten it in the package deal. It would've saved me $10 or so. I couldn't be happier with how the lights look.

Now for my question. I'm looking to get some VHOs to supplement the MH. I have a 60" tank. Do you know exactly how long the 60" retros are from endcap to endcap? I think I've only got about 59 1/2" in the canopy.

Update:
I re-measured and I have just over 60".

I found on another site that the 60" bulbs are 59.375ââ"šÂ¬Ã‚. So tack on what ever the endcaps are and it should end up pretty close to 60".

Time to place another order.

My canopy has an inner dimension of 60.5" and it fits with about 1/4" to spare.
