Ich challenge - pinktail trigger - covered

I bought a pinktail trigger for 1/2 price at Petco - he's covered with ich. Was shocked they negotiated price.

I put him in my Cupramine tank. It's a gamble and a big one.. don't expect it to survive but if he does - a small victory isn't a bad thing.

I know that TTM exists but I don't have the gear just yet.

If you have any suggestions for extreme ich cases - let me know

+2. Why do a "big gamble" and not expect your fish to survive when TTM is available? Couple of buckets, airstones and pump, heaters if you need them, some water changes, 13 days.

Not really. Helpful for velvet, ineffective for cryptocaryon irritans.

Possibly be effective for theront stage that was newly attached to fish. As it's not fully into the skin at that point. Again , only possibly helpful when fish is vastly infected.
But you're right, not going to do anything with what's embedded. Apparently exposure to freshwater for up to 18 hours did not seem to effect trophonts on the host.
