Ich in fowlr tank

You could but here is the problem(s) with it. The length of time to treat with copper may cure the fish (assumption here is that there are fish still in the tank) but a tomont can remain encysted for 72 days (according to scientific reports) and is not affected by copper or any other medication or treatment, hypo included. Also after you remove the copper it may continue to leach back in to the tank.

Not only that, but live rock will adsorb copper making it difficult to maintain therapeutic concentrations.

How about using chloroquine phosphate? I know a couple of folks who treated ich in a FOWLR.

+1 doesn't absorb in rock or sand. Stuff works like a charm providing it's 100% pure CP. I'm using it right now for my Bandit and crosshatch
