Ich must have an enemy.

It's hard to sift through the gazillion threads to try and find a "consensus best pick"

I think most people would say:

TTM, then quarantine for 5-6 weeks. Two treatments of prazi during the quarantine is an option to catch any worms.

+1

Copper as a treatment for Cryptocaryon (ich) has too many downsides (toxicity, narrow range of effectiveness, targets the most highly variable life stage) to make it a recommended treatment. TTM is highly effective, doesn't subject the fish to harmful chemicals, and only takes 12 days.

I see posters keep referencing "TTM" as the most viable ich treatment... what is that?

By far the best treatment for new additions as part of your normal quarantine period. As a treatment for existing fish in a display tank, it will work but be very careful of the stress involved in the whole procedure.
