Ich treatment in QT used for corals later

I disagree, a good rinse and some vinegar will remove any trace of copper. Copper does not bind with plastic, glass, or silicon.

True. This is an old myth that just won't die, probably goes back to a time with steel rimmed tanks and a different adhesive. I've used Cupramine on 100+ fish in the same 55 gal QT. After a vinegar wipe and rinse; it will always test "zero" for copper. Read the next-to-last FAQ: http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Cupramine.html

Agreed, I currently QT corals in a tank that has been used with copper on and off for most of the last 15 years. No problems if the tank is cleaned as outlined above.
