ID and other colors?

trying my best at this...
what's the name of this SPS:

and is there other colors available???

Green Millepora

I disagree. The coral in question bears few similarities to A. millepora. Millepora display axial corallites that "...are tubular in shape. Radial corallites are closely compacted and all the same size. They have prominent lower lips giving a scale-like appearance."
(Veron)
Frick's examples fit this description. Nice corals by the way!
Jose's Acropora is a cool piece and I highly doubt that it is a millepora. I have a green acro that looks very similar to the coral in question- with radial corallites that are very smooth (pretty much non-existent)- compressed against the branches. I will work on getting a picture of it to compare. I have yet to ID my coral.

How long have you been growing the pictured colony Jose?

Not a milepora (got those in the tank and they dont look like this big branchy coral ;) )

I got a respond on an other forum: A. Formosa

klepto: I have the coral for about 1 year now... It grows fast

Montipora digitata does not have well defined coralites and their tips do not have a leading polyp like this one has. That it not a digitata.

I doubt it is an A. formosa. The corallite structure looks completely different again. People see a staghorn growth pattern and they assume it's a formosa.

So what if it slimes a lot? Numerous species do this. I have never heard of determining an ID based on how much slime a coral excretes when you disturb it.

If it slimes, excessively, my guess would be A. yongei, though the corallite structure seems a lil' off. The corallite structure kind of resembles Montipora digitata, but the axial corallites, that are visible in the photo, are definitely NOT Montipora. It's also NOT a Millepora, as the corallite structure doesn't match that, either.

A. Aspera seems to look pretty valid.

Thanks klepto, don't steal them now LOL (interesting name)
