We got this anenome about 4 months ago. We have not been able to identify it. We have lost quiet a few fish to it. Including my hippo tang, mandarin dragonet and a bangi cardinal . The anenome looks orange at times and other times it has a green hue. Also my figi clown adores it. if anyone could help i would be greatful.

Thanks

So i'm guessing good deal for the price? Why dosn't the tips bubble up then? At least i have never seen them and I'm a stay at home dad so i am always home

Most captive BTA's don't bubble all the time. Some never bubble, mine do sometimes. It seems not to have anything to do with the health of the anemone. And for your question about them eating fish, only a weak, or very small fish would be eaten by a BTA. They aren't very potent stingers as anemones go.
