Feriation

New member
Hi. I just began my saltwater aquarium adventure on September 28th.
A wonderful fellow aquarist helped me get my cycle going by giving me a piece of her live rock and a handful of sand. Upon that rock she told me I had some lunar eclipse zoas. Now... I posted in the zoas board and someone said it looked like an SPS... I have no idea about corals at all so now I'm just unbelievably confused.

Tank is a 28 gallon CF Quad JBJ Nano Cube.
Tank has been cycling since Sept 29th and according to my tests:
Ammonia: 0.5ppm Nitrites/Nitrates: 0ppm Sal 1.025 Temp: 77

I have been leaving the lights off because of a diatom bloom. Should I be leaving the lights on in the day? Should I do a water change? Is there any way I can save them or are they doomed?

Sorry for the low quality cell phone picture. It's all I could get!

its going to die on the ammonia spike. if you would like to save it i would see if someone can hold it till your tank is ready
