ID Help Please

Hi all,

Just wanted an opinion on what you guys think these things are, I just noticed them last night on my live rock. Thanks!!

Rule #1 for taking pictures of your saltwater tank.. Turn the blue lights WAY down or or off..

Rule #2 make sure the pictures are clear and in focus..

You broke both rules :p

In general from here though it looks like its probably just a sponge of sorts.. But its really hard to tell..

Its certainly does not look anything like a spaghetti worm..

No, but I did just notice them yesterday. But when I had put the live rock in, I had inspected each piece and didn't see them at that point.

Get a regular flashlight and look at night time, I had the same looking structure in my tank and was told it was a spaghetti worm.

I'd say sponge as well.

I had, and wish I still had, the small spaghetti worms in my tank. They tended to be in the sand and they are out in the light as well as at night. I see lots of them when I snorkel (but they are a bigger species) and they build their tubes under rocks, but they do leave the tentacles (spaghetti) out during the day.
