ID of this weird mushroom

I have these mushrooms but if you touch them they turn rock hard I've never seen it happen before any help would be much appreciated

I don't believe they are mushrooms. They appear to me to be some sort of LPS coral.

Oh I was wondering about that cause I thought it was a little weird that they turned hard crazy they came on a piece of live rock thanks a bunch for the info I'd of been stuck on that for a while

Looks like a florida ricordea, in the color i'm trying to get my hands on too Btw, that favia in the reflection, how fast does it grow for you? I have a similar favia and i've had it for like 3 or so months now and no new heads.

Is it all one piece, or are there individual heads? I don't think it's a Caulestrea, but maybe a Lobophyllia or Acan?
