ID please, feather duster?

Could someone ID the small white bumps with purple hairs? It is on a branching hammer coral or frogspawn I got a few weeks ago and the on the branch that has no head. It had a few some purple/pink spots and I dipped in Bayer before putting in. I think they are either feather duster or vermetid snails.

It might me hard to see the hairs, sorry best I could do on my phone. There is a small feather duster thing that is open with purplish feathers that when closed is white, it on the branch that has the hammer/frogspawn.

In advance I would like to thanks for any help IDing it!

Thanks billdog. Can you tell if that is a hammer coral or frogspawn? It was sold to as a hammer coral but looks more like a frogspawn. Here is another picture of but it has retracted a lot as I just threw in some new live rock.

Usually a lot bigger

Not a frogspawn or at least it doesn't look like to me as none of the tentacles seem to have multple ends or splits. Looks like a torch to me but it's retracted so hard to see.

Hard to say. They are so closely related some species can be difficult to pin down. But it's 100% either a hammer (there are some 'oval' shaped tips) or a frogspawn (more round tips) and not a torch.

And I didn't see anything that looked like a feather duster?

I'd say hammer for sure. I the first pic for the feather duster are you talking about the hairy stuff in the left or the pink think on the right? A vermetid snail will put out white stringy goo when you feed

+1 on feather dusters. and the coral looks like a hammer coral with a few frogspawn like branches on some tentacles.
