ID Please Help

They have a beige/tannish circle for their center and small clear legs and each has different numbers so I don't think they're starfishes. They don't really move much and there's hundreds of them on the glass and they're not copepods. Any ideas?

Hydroid jellyfish maybe?

FWIW, i've been told they come and go - every once in a while i see a few on teh glass, then they dissapear. I've also heard that they do have a sting (like most jellyfish) but it is not strong enough to hurt much of anything (the only thing i've heard of them attacking is drawf seahorses)
