Looks like a Cali Tort to me, and I agree it does look washed out, perhaps nutrients a bit too low, need more info on the system, how many fish, how often fed, nutrient export, dosing, etc...

It a 72 gallon
Nitrate and phosphate not detected with salifert on the nitrate and hanna checker on the phosphate
Calcium 470
Alk 9.8 dkh
Ph 8.2
Temp 79
Mag 1350I run a carbon reactor and a phosphate reactor. Turned the phosphate reactor off a week ago.
I run a skimmer and have macro algae in the sump
Probably 100+ lbs of live rock. The tank has been set up for 3 years but moved it about 6 months ago and added 2" sand bed at that time. I recently added more sps frags so it hasn't had time to check color on them yet but all seems to be doing good. I run 2 ai sol blues and just ordered another one. I run kalkwasser with my ato.

Fish
Blue regal tang (small)
Yellow tang
2 ocilerous clowns
Spotted mandarin golby
I feed flakes once a day and small piece of tanera once a day

typically the higher the nutrients the darker the coral appears. So given that it is light in color, I would bump to 3 times per day of feeding the fish, and wait and see if you get nitrates to 2-5ppm on Salifert. Try and hold that number and you should see the corals darken up and show color represented in it's lineage. Good luck :)

Read and make your own decisions. There are thousands of threads discussing these topics.

That being said just feed more.

How long does it take for the nitrates to come up? I've been feeding them like crazy for 3 days and added a flame angel and still 0 on both phosphates and nitrates.

I would go slow so it doesn't spike on you. That flame Angel on the other hand might pick at your sps.
