A description would help, as well as a picture NOT taken under blue lighting. Based upon the picture, it could be sponge, but it could also be a leafy algae. Color, texture and a clearer picture would help.
Rule #1 of ID pictures is to turn the blue channel off or way down.. All that destroys proper color rendition and quite often doesn't allow a camera to focus properly.
Both are important for identification pictures..
