LFS sent me pics of the Mantis they had.

I wanted to do a little research before I got it..

I have a 29 Gallon with about 6-8inch of Sand for borrowing
And all the LR he can handle..


What kind is this and is it a good find? What should I feed it?

I didn't take the pics...so excuse the blurryness

Should I prepare the tank in any way or just let him dig on his own??

Whats best to feed him? I know clubbers are snails, crabs and such, but couldn't find much on spearers..

my friend feeds his krill and ghost shrimp, and the very occasional molly for some excitement

I have a trap where my boat is docked. It's brackish because it's near the mouth of a river, but that's better than FW feeders. Crabs, mussels, little fish, all sorts of good stuff.
