ID this crazy green acro!

I like green Cali tort. It's basically the reverse of the standard Cali. It definatly fits the "tort" bill for me. It almost looks like an austera that's morphed over time. I'd like to find a frag to grow out. Pm me if your open to cutting it.

how mr sandman green monster. things seem to cost more when u put someone's name in front of it.

Haha, not with my name in front if it.

Ok, so no positive ID from what i can tell but i'd have to say that A. Florida is the closest thing based on J. Veron's book. I also like the name Emerald Sky since the color is sort of greenish blue. With that said, coralreefdoc, a frag is yours when you want it. Thanks everyone for the input!!!

Emerald Sky it is. Sounds good to me.

Mr. Sandman. Thank you ! When I saw your thread and consequently viewed the specimen in question I immediately thought A. Florida. I am confident this is the correct species identification. As for Emerald Sky, I too think it is a fitting, unique name. One that is as classy as the coral it is named for. It is nice to hear you are also a member of the Corals of the World club, Veron's masterpiece ! Thanks again, Sandman, I look forward to receiving a frag of this beauty

Yeah, J. Veron's book is awesome. If only they offered an iPad version of it so i can put away the big behemoth hardbacks. Anyways, i just realized you're not from Socal and you're posting in the socal forum.

If you're ever in the socal area, a frag will be waiting for you.
