Hey Folks,
I got this anemone this weekend. It was said to be a gigantea anemone. However, it is SUPER sticky to me AND MY CLOWNFISH (luckily, I saved him when I realized I didn't see him swimming around in the holding pen.

It is green and pink/red.

The foot sticks to the wall of it's holding pen.
It's mouth does have some gape-which is why I was initially just worried about its health.
Its color is vibrant, and tentacles have a nice bloom and are relatively short? It is quite responsive and sticky.

That is a S. helianthus, unfortunately, which is the Atlantic Sun Anemone. He is not a host anemone and have been known to eat clownfish.

Oh, great. Thanks Orion.
I'll definitely return him. He's cute but I wanted him to host my clown trio.
They are cute. 2 are phantoms and 1...I don't know what it is but it's super cute too.

It's deeper orange, almost red. kind of like a photon with the black but red instead of orange.

I'll get a pic tomorrow, maybe you'll know what kind he is.

Thanks again!

This is the clown:
You can see a bit of the color distinction. You can see a glimpse of the orange of the photon tail, then the red orange and black body of the clown in question.

I'm including 2 pics. One side of his body middle has the full white bar then you see on the other side the white bar does not connect on his mid section or his tail
