cnidarian in my opinion

Not talking down to you at all just trying to clairify something here with this statement all corals belong to Cnidarian. From Montis, Zoas, to anemones... They all have the stinging cells.

As I've been watching it grow, I've noticed that it has a foot like a nem. I'll be ripping it out pretty soon. Too bad because it has nice colors.

Yeh its a majano nem. I used to get excited when i saw crazy looking majono thinking it was some zoa or paly, i was then let down when i figured it out. Still cool looking but not cool enough to make me want to throw all my coral away and just have a majano tank. If it becomes a problem in the tank i would recomend getting a file fish or a copperband butterfly, they might eat it.

O yeh , if you cut them in the tank they will spread like a wild fire.

Good to know. I was going to slice it off in my tank. If I cut it off in another container and rinse it before placing it back should I be good? If not, it's on a small rock so I can just toss it.
