ID without a picture?

OK, so I can't get a good picture of this organism, so I'll do my best to describe it.

Picture, if you will, something with long, slender arms that resemble those of a brittle star. However, unlike a brittle star, this organism appears to be attached to a rock. I can't see an obvious mouth, but all the arms have a center and there are some shorter "arms" in the middle. It's reddish brown with blackish stripes on the arms.

Any takers?

I think I've identified it as a spaghetti worm... but I'm having hard time figuring out if it's bad or not bad for a tank.

Spaghetti worms are benificial.

Yep spaghetti ( Cirratulid ) worms are beneficial, and excellent detritivores. Hope that you have alot more.
