Kass, what other snails do you have?
You are probably better with a mix than just replacing turbos. Just a few turbos along with a mix of trochus, nerite, stomatella, cerith, and nassarius makes a well balanced mix.

I have a mix in my 55.
I was thinking some mexican turbos for my 150 but I need to get the nitrates lower anyway before I would add some. I'm surprised my jumbo nassarius are still alive in there lol.
I thought if they did order from somewhere that had them I'd put them in my 55 for now but that's ok I'm not in a hurry.
I have some monster zebra turbos I got last yr from just pets in my 55. I never knew they could get so big lol. My other mexicans never got quite that big.
I really liked those black ones from Dr. Fosters cuz they were smaller but mine did'nt live. I might have 1 left.
I just mainly wanted people to know that astreas arent really turbos.

I'm fine with anything in Green Bay/Depere or Appleton. Jon's was a stretch for drive time, but not too bad.
I'm also open to making orders, but would be a toss up. I'm central enough that the drive times for most would be equal, but then nobody's would be short either. We're about 30-40 minutes from the Fox Valley mall and 30 minutes from down town Depere. (Does Depere have a downtown? Anyway, referring to the area around the Hwy 32 bridge and what it now the Thilmany mill there).
Just wanted to throw it out if being in the middle works. I don't mind making an order even if I'm not ordering something myself, if the location works for most. I AM out there, but at least out there in between our two cities we're concentrated in.

Yep Jason's house is a goods place to get orders and pick them up I would guess a half mile off of hwy 41. If he is willing to take off work to meet the truck and it was the right day for me that would work great. There isn't much room in my tank but I could use a few sand stirrers.

I would like cleaners but it's not worth it to me to drive up to GB to pick up, I'll wait till there's an order in Appleton sometime.
Hey nellie, ill drive up to GB and pick up my stuff and yours, (and anybody else from the appleton area that wants to order, but not drive all the way to green bay for a snail) you started this saying you needed some clean up crew it would be a shame if you didn't get in on the order. I owe you a ride/carpool anyways.
I'll 1 up you one better, put together an order down there, everyone run paypal and pay Brian (or Nellie), and I will drive down and get everyone's stuff and transferr it (float them till pickup) in my tanks the same day.

I'd like to see an order for premium rock, not cheap rock, fwiw. Quality over quantity, it looked like you guys were leaning the other way for a bit..

Jon, haven't I always taken care of you in some small way? I'd drop them off at your house... cuz... I love ya man...
Just kidding... your a swell enough guy and I have talked with you enough that you know you and I share alot of views on important things, like bag time... except for that mushroom in my overflow for 24 hours+ on the last buy. I'd really like to see the FOX valley folks get in on a buy, since they are the FOXY part of the Fox Valley Reef Club.

Just kidding... your a swell enough guy and I have talked with you enough that you know you and I share alot of views on important things, like bag time... except for that mushroom in my overflow for 24 hours+ on the last buy. I'd really like to see the FOX valley folks get in on a buy, since they are the FOXY part of the Fox Valley Reef Club.

I'm going to be in Memphis all next week if that's when the order happens. I'll ask Connie if she's comfortable acclimating whatever few things we'd get though and hope not to miss an order

I have some blackout dates for me... the weeks of the 18th, 19th and 20th, I'm gone... my ordering would be out of the question if delivery were to happen those days. I do have something else in the works for that though.
