Ideas on what this H.Mag is doing

My H. Mag has had its "mouth" partially out ever since I had gotten it almost a year ago (11 months). This is an anemone that was a result of a cutting. I assumed it's mouth would eventually go back to normal as it healed, but more and more as it's healed it looks like it's eventually going to drop that part off. It has always eaten well and is happy where it is at. That mouth part used to be white and almost see through. Over time it has colored up. Just curious what anyone things is going on with this thing ???

IMO, after 11 months and he is still having very low tentacle counts, he is not doing well.
I would concentrate on given him top notch water quality and feeding him and see how he progress
