about to lose two more in an hour.. wiping out the tank.. funny thing is they are still trying to eat?

now wipping out an anthias and potters.. others are looking bad also. QT tank wipe out.. who would have thought.. velvet i believe is correct.. so much faster than ick. wow. yet clown fish unaffected. as well as wrasse..

How long had these been in QT before all this started? Any prophylactic treatment started or just observation? I'm sorry for your losses... but it could be a lot worse had this happened in your DT.

weeks.. but introduced some new mates into the QT tank about a week ago. yes at least it is the QT.. so i have access to the fish easy. can do a fresh dip.. at first thought it was flukes.. but sure now it is pretty much velvet.. copper work?

See my comment here. Copper will work if they survive the f/w dip & formalin bath. Chloroquine phosphate will clear it in 10 days (according to studies from the 70s); so that would be my weapon of choice over copper in this situation.
